Saturday and Sunday (August 16-17) was the 59th running of the historic Pikes Peak Ascent and Pikes Peak Marathon in Colorado, which together make up America's Ultimate Challenge.

They included Runner's High Club's Heather Foley, a HARRA member, as well as the only "Doubler", Katy's Art Fresquez.

Art placed 29th of the 128 who finished both the Ascent on Saturday and Marathon on Sunday.  Twelve (12) Texans accomplished the feat.

Texas has contributed 2,547 finishes, including 1,356 in the Ascent and 1,191 in the Marathon, and is just 17 ahead of California.

Congratulations to all who finished either event!
